Description: |
Brown-gray upperparts with numerous whitish spots. In flight, shows gray underwing, square white rump, and narrowly-barred tail. Straight black bill has green tinge at base; long yellowish to olive-green legs. |
Similar Species: |
Differs from Green Sandpiper by slimmer size, longer paler legs, browner upperparts, and gray underwing. Much smaller than Common Greenshank. |
