Length:31-34 cm, Wing Span: 63-70 cm

Description: Variable in color; typically blue-gray overall. White rump and lower back; two black wingbars, white underwing.
Similar Species: Differs from Stock Dove by white underwing and rump, long black wingbars, paler gray back.
Behavior: Gregarious. Glides with raised wings. Common and tame in cities; wary in natural setting.
Habitat: Cliffs, river gorges, cities.
Food: Seeds, invertebrates, refuse.
Nest: Loose cup of twigs on ledge of cliff, building, or in cave.
Eggs: 39 mm, 2, white.
