Description: |
Small with bold head pattern. Black-brown crown and gray-brown ear coverts; white supercilium. Orange-brown upperparts, flanks and breast side (paler and grayer in summer), dark streaks on back. |
Similar Species: |
Differs from Sedge Warbler by entirely dark crown and redder tone to upperparts. |
Behavior: |
Feeds low in vegetation, usually staying over water, and often holding tail cocked. |
